Instrumental Methods of Analysis – Theory:-
Analyzing the samples is crucial in pharmacy field and we understood the basic chemistry behind it through Pharmaceutical analysis subject in 1st semester of B.pharm. Following that, most advanced analysis techniques are studied in Instrumental method of analysis. Students will be exposed to the top class instruments used in pharmaceutical field. Understanding these instruments and Analysis techniques is important requirement for those who are interested in Quality assurance departments. It's all about analyzing the samples quantitatively and qualitatively by using various updated pharmaceutical techniques. This subject knowledge is the actual and most needed practical knowledge for chemistry related departments in company.
According PCI, "This Instrumental method Analysis deals with the application of instrumental methods in qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs. This subject is designed to impart a fundamental knowledge on the principles and instrumentation of spectroscopic and chromatographic technique. This also emphasizes on theoretical and practical knowledge on modern analytical instruments that are used for drug testing".
Study Tips:-
Rule no 1:- Take principal and instrumentation of different instruments seriously, keep snaps of them to revise periodically.
Rule no 2:- Practice the instrumentation to prevent confuse in the exams. compare each instrument to remember logically.
BP702T- Industrial Pharmacy-II-Theory:-
Not all pharmaceutical products are made in company research labs, many innovative pharmaceutical products are the efforts of students and their mentors in collage level. This Industrial pharmacy subjects deals with the process involved in transferring idea seed to final product. It helps students understand the non-scientifical and legal processes involved in developing a pharmaceutical product.
Once again these all are most general and required things for the employees in the company mainly regulatory affairs department. Regulatory affairs department forms bridge between government and pharmaceutical companies to overcome the conflicts in managing any licensing or product approval process. It's well growing field in India and this subject serves as an important aspect of it.
According to PCI, "Industrial Pharmacy-II is designed to impart fundamental knowledge on pharmaceutical product development and translation from laboratory to market"

Pharmacy Practice- Theory:-
Pharmacy field is not limited to industry alone, Pharmacy is a health service and that is provided through numerous pharmacy shops in India. Pharmacy Practice subject deals with various guidelines that has to be followed in a pharmacy to provide quality service. It provides knowledge about role of pharmacist in Hospital and as well as community shop. It sculpt a moral pharmacist who can see it as service not as a business.
Students who select pharmacy service or any role in hospital should concentrate more in this subject because it guides and trains a pharmacist to interact well with patients.
According to PCI, "In the changing scenario of pharmacy practice in India, for successful practice of Hospital Pharmacy, the students are required to learn various skills like drug distribution, drug information, and therapeutic drug monitoring for improved patient care. In community pharmacy, students will be learning various skills such as dispensing of drugs, responding to minor ailments by providing suitable safe medication, patient counselling for improved patient care in the community set up".

Novel Drug Delivery System- Theory:-
As name suggest, this subject deals with different existing drug delivery systems such as oral, parenteral etc. In recent years pharmaceutical companies approach towards Novel Drug delivery is increasing drastically. This subject is completely packed with novel delivery systems. Many diseases in the market are effectively treated because of many novel drug delivery systems, e.g. Asthma metered device. This subject will help students to understand how these are designed and their importance in the pharmaceutical field. It also encourages students to come up with these kind of novel approaches to overcome the present issues in the society.
According to PCI, "This subject is designed to impart basic knowledge on the area of novel drug delivery systems".
Study Tips:-
Rule No 1- Understand the purpose of the system first to remember it easily. Corelate with already existing products in the market.
Rule No 2- Syllabus is kind of more to cover in the final stage and hence needs attention in the initial stages of the classes itself. Understanding the concepts from the beginning itself will help to remember it easily till the end.

Course designed to improve students knowledge towards industrial point of view. This Course is added as a replacement to compulsory industrial training. The agenda of the course is to teach students about the department they like in industry. Students will be exposed to the industrial department exposure to learn lot industrial mechanism and how they matter most.
The syllabus is designed by the respective University faculty members based on the available requirements and so once again the knowledge provided by the faculty matters most for the students.
